Summary

SENSE SCOTLAND - MAKING EACH DAY MATTER!

Dundee Day Support Service is looking to recruit part time Support Workers offering 22.5 hours or 15 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and shifts will include early and late shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Dundee Support Services operates from 8am until 10pm over 7 days across two bases in Dundee. All the adults we support have a learning disability and /or physical disability and complex communication support needs.

Your job will be to provide a person-centred care package in order to meet the needs of the people using the service, including support individuals with their personal care, moving and assisting routines, support with non-verbal communication and sensory techniques, support the adults to have lots of fun and achieve goals within their life.

About the service

>The Hillview base offers a more therapeutic type of support using a base where there are activity spaces available to support on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
>Community Links is a drop-in space offering a place to rest, eat or be supported with personal care.
