Summary
Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch.
For the successful Warehouse Operative our client is offering:
• £12.21 per hour (pay review after 3 months)
• Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
• Temporary - Permanent position
• On-site walk around / Induction to understand the roles and environment
• Growth within multiple sections / areas of the business
• Career progression / In House training
The Role - Warehouse Operative;
• Packing
• Palletising
• Unboxing products
• Heavy lifting up to 20kg
• Booking in orders
• Liaising with FLT and Delivery Drivers
• General warehouse administration
• Following food and hygiene regulations on site
• Working with a team of around 6-8 people
• Correctly daily/weekly cleaning documents
What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative;
• Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - DESIRABLE
• Previous experience in a Goods in or Warehouse role - ESSENTIAL
• Basic computer knowledge- ESSENTIAL
• Reach or Counterbalance Forklift licence- DESIRABLE
• Must have picking/ packing/ palletising experience- DESIRABLE
• Be able to complete / read labels and paperwork- ESSENTIAL
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG -ESSENTIAL
