Summary
Job Title: Fly-Tipping Clearance Operative
Location: Local Authority, Huddersfield HD2 area (working across the Kirklees district)
Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Work
Hours: Monday Friday 8AM to 3PM to work 37 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our clients Greenspace Action Team (GAT) in tackling fly-tipping across the Kirklees district. Working alongside our experienced GAT Rangers, you will assist in the safe removal and disposal of illegally dumped waste from designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• To work with Greenspace Action Team Rangers to attend fly tipping, search for evidence and clear the waste
• Assist in the collection and removal of fly-tipped waste from public areas.
• Work under the direction of GAT Supervisors to complete daily assigned routes.
• Handle waste safely, following health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Use provided PPE correctly at all times.
• Training provided
Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• No driving licence required.
