Our long-established client, one of the largest dealers in their field the UK are looking for methodical, well organised, trouble shooter to join them as Group Workshop Support. This is a hands-on role supporting the companies four UK based Service Managers.
Group Workshop Support:
• Assist in the recruitment of staff for the Workshops including warranty, service, and aftersales departments.
• You will be the main point of contact and support for the companies four Uk based Service Managers
• Monthly visits to Workshops to audit and re-prioritise administration procedures including ledgers, invoice and job cards and assisting in clearing any queries or backlogs
• Support with controlling the four Workshops accounts procedures and run collective finance reports
• Help prepare Workshop budgets, forecasting and year end procedures.
• Oversee Workshop tenders and create preferred supplier lists for the group to ensure a uniformed purchasing plan.
• Support decisions with warranty’s, instalment agreements, hire and lease plans that fall outside of the group matrix.
As Group Workshop Support you will have access to the pool car for Workshop visits.
There may be occasional working away.
To be considered for the Group Workshop Support candidates must have:
• Previous Aftersales experience in either Agricultural, Horticulture, Vehicle, Plant or Engineering arenas.
• Previous managerial experience is essential for the role.
• Intermediate IT skills with Word and Excel skills – training will be given on the Workshop systems
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• A clear understanding of business accounts and finance procedures.
This role would suit an Aftersales Manager, Workshop Manager or Group Administration Manager.
This role is permanent 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business.
