Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the directorate, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and relevant documentation for meetings.
Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports, presentations, and other key documents.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and information flow.
Carry out data entry tasks and maintain databases to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Assist in the planning and execution of events, training sessions, and workshops.
Support the onboarding process for new staff, including scheduling orientations and preparing welcome materials.
Requirements
Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role, ideally in a public sector environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work output.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
