About the role of Customer Care Manager
As Customer Care Manager, you would lead the aftercare team to ensure homeowners receive exceptional support and service following their move. The role focuses on managing enquiries, coordinating repairs, and resolving issues promptly and professionally, while working closely with internal teams and contractors to maintain high standards. By fostering clear communication and a customer-first approach, the position ensures a positive, reassuring experience for every homeowner, reinforcing the company's reputation for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities for Customer Care Manager
- Lead, motivate, and manage the customer care / aftercare team.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure the team meets service standards.
- Act as a key liaison between the customer care team, construction/site teams, sales, and external contractors.
- Schedule, monitor, and follow up on remedial works or maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that internal teams are aligned on customer expectations and project timelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain customer care policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to company strategy regarding customer care and after-sales services.
Requirements for Customer Care Manager
- Have proven experience managing or helping to lead a high-performing customer care team - ideally with a track record of influencing process, coaching others, and driving improvement.
- Have strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a quick grasp of new systems.
- Preferably have a full UK driving license.
