Summary
Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes and subspecialty clinics (eg foot / antenatal / young adult diabetes) Endocrinology outpatient clinics Outpatient investigation and management of common endocrine disorders Inpatient management of endocrine and diabetes emergencies Management of common GIM emergencies and conditions Leading and supervising the inpatient ward rounds Risk and Governance Commitment to engagement in regular audit, quality improvement and departmental Governance processes Education and Training Engagement in clinical and educational supervision of trainees if appropriate (as this is a locum post), teaching medical students attached to the team and providing adhoc teaching and training for other members of the MDT and department Personal development Commitment to maintaining personal CPD Engagement with Trust requirements for appraisal and revalidation
