Summary
Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team.
What you'll be doing:
• This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements.
• Translate requirements into actional items in collaboration with technical leads that can be implemented by a development team.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where improvements can be made using AI products.
• Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for specific deliveries.
• Work closely with AI engineers and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and clarification to the development team.
• Ensure that developed solutions meet business needs via stakeholder engagement, UAT testing, and metric analysis.
• Monitor and analyse product performance, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use cases, systems, and process flows.
• Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
• Maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organised and prioritised.
• Participate in sprint planning and reviews to set goals and assess progress.
• Prioritise features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
What we're looking for:
Technical Skills
• Process Mapping and Analysis: Experience in creating AS-IS vs TO-BE process documentation and conducting fit gap analysis to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
• Operational Readiness: Experience writing runbooks, configuration guides, support FAQs, and knowledge base documentation to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support.
• Data Management: Working knowledge of SQL for data queries and validation, plus experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, QuickSight, or similar) for creating business insights.
• Data Validation Techniques: Ability to ensure data quality and integrity throughout system implementations.
• Cloud Services: High-level understanding of core services used in AI-enabled applications, preferably in AWS.
• AI/ML Literacy: Understanding of AI/automation capabilities and limitations to assess feasibility and set realistic expectations for automation initiatives.
• Cloud Cost Awareness: Understanding of cloud operation costs including compute, storage, and data transfer costs, with ability to consider cost implications into solution design.
• Environment Management: Knowledge of environment strategies (development, staging, production) and associated deployment processes
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Backlog Management; knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Back office process automation is a plus
• Significant experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
• Knowledge of business process modelling techniques, such as BPMN.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and tools, including Agile, waterfall.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with data mapping techniques
