Summary
Main duties of the job Provide expert clinical care in Anaesthetics, including elective theatre lists, emergencies, outpatient clinics for high risk anaesthetic clinics, and on-call services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions in hospital and community settings. Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated clinical guidelines and protocols. Supervise and support resident medical staff. Engage in clinical audit, quality improvement, and research activities. Participate in clinical governance and risk management. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with colleagues across departments and external partners. Management and leadership Participate in departmental meetings and service planning. Contribute to workforce planning and service redesign initiatives. Take on leadership roles as appropriate within the department or Trust.
