Summary
Collaborate and Communicate: Use various communication methods (face-to-face, video, email, phone) to coordinate patient care, share information, and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, service users, and MDTs across trusts. Attend and contribute to team meetings and service MDT discussions. Service Development and Consultation: Produce annual reports and audits on psychological services, offering recommendations for practice development. Provide expert advice and consultation, contributing to a psychologically informed framework of care across all settings and services, and take responsibility for coordinating care plans for patients accessing multiple services. Supervision, Training, and Research: Manage workloads of assistant and trainee psychologists, support volunteer involvement, and deliver psycho-educational training to staff, patients, and carers. Engage in CPD, research, and quality improvement projects, ensuring ongoing professional development in clinical neuropsychology.
