For almost 100 years our client has been working hard to become one of the largest dealers in the UK, supplying across central England. They are looking for methodical, organised proactive Group Services Manager to join them in this exciting role. You will be very hands on and an integral part of the growth of the business.

As a Group Services Account Manager, you will:
• Oversee all procedures for your department in Head office and all subsequent branches
• Assist in the recruitment of staff for the warranty, service and aftersales departments of all branches
• You will be the point of contact at all times for managers and admin staff and occasionally deputise for managers when required for cover
• Visit other branches each month to organise and prioritise ledgers/invoices/ job cards / work in progress and assist in clearing backlogs
• You will support accounts with the overview of invoicing, sales ledgers, purchase ledger, payment plans, claim credits, individual profit and loss per branch and tying and matching all these together
• Be responsible for preparing workshop trading figures including annual forecasts, budgets and year end procedures.
• Oversee tenders/PSL and purchasing costs for all material and consumables within a workshop environment and manage discrepancies.
• You will be visiting 2 or more branches per month to manage administration paperwork and training of new staff
• Manage and finalise decisions with warranty, extended warranty, ‘one off’ prices outside of the matrix, instalment plans, hire and lease plans

This role is permanent 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business. As Group Services Account Manager you will have access to the pool car for visits to and from depots, so can involve nights away.

The ideal candidate for Group Services account Manager will:
• Have experience in Workshop, Engineering, Agricultural, Vehicle, Plant Machinery or HGV Aftersales.
• Have previous managerial experience – within a large group.
• Be conscientious and diligent with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Be experienced with working to challenging deadlines.
• Must be computer literate – excel spreadsheets is a must
• Excellent time management, strong planning and diplomacy skills.
• Have a full UK driving licence.
• A minimum of 2 years accounts experience.
