Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced systems support technician to join our busy ICT team at Mansfield District Council.

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in providing support to end users and undertaking a wide range of duties including the investigation and resolution of technical hardware and software issues, configuration and deployment of desktop hardware and peripherals along with developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills via telephone, email and face-to-face contact whilst handling a wide range of enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.

The role is based atourmain Civic Centre buildingand requires workinga minimum of 3 days a weekon site between the hours of8:30am to 5pmwith flexible lunch hours. Full time on sitewill be required during the training period andin line with the needs of the service.

What we're looking for:

Experience in the investigation and resolution of end user ICT issues and queries

Strong communication skills and a confident approach

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment

Keen interest in ICT and new technologies
