Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team at Suffolk New College and play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic and operational direction of our Personal Development and Enrichment offer across all campuses.
Working in close partnership with the Director of Quality, Teaching Development and Student Progress, you will lead and inspire the Progress Tutor team to deliver an outstanding programme that enables students to develop the skills, confidence and wider personal attributes they need to thrive.
You will therefore need to be able to demonstrate:
-Excellent people management and staff development skills, with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams to achieve high standards.
-Expertise in personal development, enrichment and wider skills education, alongside substantial experience of working with young people in an educational or youth-focused setting.
-Ability to build, maintain and develop sustainable relationships with employers, community partners and external agencies to enhance the student experience.
-Creative and innovative approaches that contribute to an exceptional personal development and enrichment offer, leading to strong student engagement and positive outcomes.
You will also be required to undertake some teaching hours, therefore, you should be able to demonstrate proven teaching expertise associated with the role.
You should also hold a relevant degree or professional qualification, maths and English at level 2 or equivalent alongside a teaching qualification at level 5.
Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site and you will be required to work at and travel between campuses for this role.
