Community Hub Lead (12 Month Contract)

5.5 Hours per week, flexible across the week

£12.30 per hour

We are looking for that special person that enjoys making a lasting impact in the community, meeting incredible people and wants
to help create a space that truly matters.

Bethphage have been offered the opportunity to develop the community hub to the 1st floor within Our Space Hub, this is in
addition to commissioned services we currently provide on the ground floor. As this development does not receive any guaranteed
funding, we are seeking to grow our volunteer team to support the project. The Community Hub Lead will be involved in attracting
and supporting these volunteers. Our Space Hub is a vibrant service offering day opportunities for people with learning
disabilities and older people with support needs, including those living with dementia or at risk of social isolation and
Bethphage manage the Ellesmere Library. This role is to develop the Community Hub element, which is in addition to the existing
services at Our Space

Your role will involve networking with various individuals and groups, including but not limited to people that access services,
professionals, community groups, colleagues and members of the public, building on strong relationships and improving
community-led services.

We are looking for a friendly, open communicator who can engage with people from all walks of life. You will be organised,
creative and proactive in your planning, having basic IT skills are essential. You will role model Bethphage’s values and be
passionate about making a difference.
