Summary
Arrange the weekly MDT meeting; ensure appropriate venue and equipmentavailable. Collate, produce and disseminate the MDT list of patients for discussion incollaboration with the Clinical Team to include all appropriate new and historiccases. Ensure all information to enable a complete discussion is available reporting anydiscrepancies to the MDT lead. Ensure discussion is recorded and disseminated appropriately includingcommunicating information to GPs. In collaboration with the clinical team ensure all actions resulting from the MDTdiscussion are implemented. Maintain an accurate record of team attendance at MDT, producing a yearlyreport for the MDT lead. To be aware of availability of staff and events which may impact on the MDTmeetings ( eg consultant leave, MDT meeting cancelled due to bank holidays)and liaise with the Patient Pathway Coordinator to make allowances for this inthe patient pathways. Develop systems to ensure rapid and effective communication between allmembers of the MDT. Collate / Input clinical data from MDT into the Somerset Cancer Registry underthe direction of the MDT lead.
