We are looking for a skilled Fire Door Maintainer and Installer to join our team.​

This role involves carrying out fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with the BM Trada Q Mark scheme.​

You will play a key part in delivering a world-class building services maintenance service across a variety of client properties.

Job Description

As a Fire Door Maintainer and Installer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial repairs, and installation of fire doors.

You will provide accurate quotations, ensure all work meets specified performance criteria, and represent the company professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.​

This role requires a proactive approach to client liaison and adherence to contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to BM Trada Q Mark standards.

Manage Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs, and installation works issued through the helpdesk within set timeframes.

Provide accurate remedial quotations.

Occasionally assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed.

Ensure all fire doors operate to specified performance criteria.

Represent the company professionally and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Take a proactive approach to client liaison and resolve concerns promptly.

Comply with all contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience in fire door maintenance and installation.

Knowledge of BM Trada Q Mark scheme and fire safety standards.

Strong carpentry/joinery skills.

Ability to provide accurate quotations and manage timeframes effectively.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full UK driving license (due to mobile nature of the role).
