Summary

The Streetcleansing Service is looking to recruit a multi-functional Streetcare Operative to work across all areas of the City. They will help to transform and improve the cleanliness and environmental standards of the city to meet the aspirations of its communities.
It is essential that you have experience of working in an environmental field and be certificated in the use of a wide range of vehicles. A driving license is essential for the role.
You must be able to deal with difficult situations involving members of the public.
You will need to undertake duties that include bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and walking long distances.
The hours of work are from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off shift pattern with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. (44 hours per shift). Enhancements are paid for working nights and weekends.
