Summary
A leading financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Risk Control Officer to join our Risk Management team and play a pivotal role in strengthening our Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices.
What You'll Do:
- Enhance and maintain operational risk management policies and standards.
- Lead and support RCSA workshops, control attestation, and process mapping.
- Manage operational risk incident reporting, root cause analysis, and thematic reviews.
- Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and monitor performance against risk appetite.
- Support governance through high-quality reporting for senior committees.
- Deliver tailored operational risk training and act as a second-line advisory point.
- Assist with Enterprise Risk Management assessments and reporting.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in operational risk and enterprise risk management.
- Professional qualifications such as FRM or CFA preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Three Lines of Defense model and UK regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Experience preparing reports for executive-level committees.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable with a hybrid working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote per week.
