A Hiab lorry combines a flatbed or drop side truck with an onboard hydraulic crane capable of lifting and placing loads such as material & pallets. The crane is usually
operated by the driver via manual controls or remote control and can rotate 360 degress, with extendable boom sections for increased reach.
Key Features:
* Hydraulic knuckle -boom or telescopic crane .
* Lifting capacity varies by model (often 1-30+ tonnes)
* Flatbed , drop side or tipper body options.
* Outriggers for stability during lifts.
* Can load/ unload without external cranes or forklifts
Common Uses:
* Construction and building sites.
