We’re looking for a Human Resources and Organisational Development Advisor to join our Organisational Development (OD) team at an exciting time as we transform, modernise and shape the future of our new organisation.
What you’ll be doing
Working collaboratively across the council, you’ll play a key role in driving forward our inclusive workplace agenda, wellbeing priorities and organisational culture change programme.
This varied role includes supporting whole-organisation initiatives and leading on corporate projects that contribute directly to our People Strategy.
You will help shape and deliver activity across areas such as:
Ways of working and culture development
Performance appraisal and values and behaviours
Workforce engagement and recognition
Wellbeing initiatives and resources
Embedding inclusion and belonging across the organisation
About you
You will bring experience of working in complex and fast‑paced environments and be confident navigating challenging organisational landscapes. Your collaborative approach, strong relationship‑building skills and ability to think creatively will enable you to positively influence change and support managers across the organisation.
You will also bring:
A solutions‑focused mindset
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate OD concepts into practical, accessible tools
A genuine passion for culture, inclusion and organisational development
