Summary

Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career and work on some of the most complex and high-value risks in the market? This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Client Advisor with at least two years’ experience in commercial or corporate insurance to join a leading Risk Management team in Birmingham.

In this role, you will manage a small portfolio of major clients, including global insurance programmes and blue-chip businesses. These accounts involve intricate structures and significant premium spends, often exceeding £1 million, so attention to detail and a methodical, thorough approach are essential. If you enjoy the technical side of insurance and like working through detailed processes to deliver exceptional service, this role is for you.

You will support Client Executives and senior Client Advisors with all aspects of account management, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, invoicing, slip production and client queries. You will also help maintain strong client relationships and provide technical support when needed. This is not a high-volume role; you will typically manage four to five large accounts, giving you the chance to build deep, long-term relationships.

To succeed, you will need previous experience in a similar role within commercial or corporate insurance, strong organisational skills and confidence in communication and negotiation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems is important. Most importantly, you will have a genuine interest in developing your technical expertise and working on complex cases that require precision and problem-solving.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to attend the Birmingham office at least two days per week, including a team day on Wednesday. In return, you will benefit from professional development opportunities, a collaborative culture and the chance to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding accounts in the industry.

If you are ready to take on a role that combines technical complexity with client relationship management, apply today and join a team that values expertise, growth and excellence.
