Summary
Location: Hatton - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office and project sites required
Hours: 45 hours per week - flexible working options available; some flexibility on hours can be discussed during the recruitment process

What will you be responsible for?As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting the successful commercial and contractual delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring strong cost-control, contract compliance and financial performance.
Your day to day will include:
-Driving and managing commercial delivery across multiple projects or workstreams
-Supporting and developing quantity surveyors through cost forecasting, valuations, reporting and commercial administration
-Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering, contract negotiations and payments to ensure value for money
-Overseeing interim applications, variations, final accounts and claims with both clients and the supply chain
-Monitoring project budgets and commercial risk, implementing mitigation strategies where required
What are we looking for?This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
-You have significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a relevant utilities or infrastructure environment
-You hold a professional qualification (e.g. RICS, or a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)
-You have a strong working knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar standard forms of contract
-You have experience managing project finances across the full project lifecycle
-You are able to lead, mentor and support commercial teams while managing multiple priorities effectively
