Summary

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Severn Trent team based in the Midlands.

Location: Midlands (Severn Trent area) - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering a portfolio of projects for Severn Trent Water. Your day to day will include:

-Leading a small team of commercial professionals, providing mentorship and guidance

-Managing subcontracts, change control processes, and financial forecasting

-Building relationships with clients while maximising project profitability

-Preparing monthly applications for payment and monitoring accounts against forecasts

-Creating an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought and experience is actively encouraged



What are we looking for? This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have experience with NEC contracts and target cost arrangements

-You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and are working towards or have attained professional membership

-You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy building collaborative relationships
