Job Description:
Vibe Care are hiring experienced Support Workers for our client in Didcot! We're looking for candidates who excel in diverse supported living settings, who naturally have a caring and compassionate nature. What skills and experience are we looking for in candidates?
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
- Minimum 12 months experience working for a care agency or 6 months in a permanent care role
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience supporting individuals displaying behaviours that may challenge
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Dedicated, honest and reliable
Main responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Daily tasks will often include personal care, meal preparation and manual handling
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' behaviour or health conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
