Summary

Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
Position Type: Full Time (36 hours per week)
Salary: £12.50 per hour

We are looking for two compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and support to residents with complex mental health needs.
• Assist residents in their daily activities and promote independence.
• Implement personalised care plans and ensure the well-being of each resident.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Monitor and report on residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
• Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe.
• Previous experience in working with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (particularly schizophrenia) is essential and is a deal braker.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficiency in active listening and the ability to read body language.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
