Based within our friendly and dedicated Travel and Tourism team, you will lead and inspire both staff and students, driving curriculum development and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all levels. You will play a key role in shaping engaging course content that reflects industry trends, giving our learners the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Your leadership will help foster a collaborative and supportive environment, where creativity and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. You will work closely with colleagues to review and enhance programmes, introduce fresh ideas, and contribute to the ongoing success of the department.

About You
We’re looking for someone who can inspire and engage learners in the field of Travel and Tourism. You’ll have a strong teaching background, a positive mindset, and a can-do attitude, with a commitment to placing students and community at the heart of your practice.
You’ll be confident in leading curriculum development and supporting colleagues, while creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment. Your ability to combine practical industry knowledge with academic excellence will help students thrive and achieve their goals.
Below is a list of some of the key skills, qualifications and experience we are seeking for this exciting opportunity.
Required
• Qualification at Level 5 or above in relevant subject area(s)
• PGCE, Cert Ed or Level 4/5 teaching qualification (e.g. CTLLS/DTLLS) or willingness to achieve within a specified timescale
• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
• Experience of teaching students on FE programmes
• Experience of supporting a Course Leader in the management of a FE programme
• Understanding of the requirements of a study programme for FE
• Knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment in FE
