Summary

Deputy Manager –Southend-on-Sea

Our client is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the leadership of their residential care home, providing high-quality care for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The Role

The Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the service, ensuring that systems, processes, and care delivery meet the highest standards. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and mentoring staff to provide safe, high-quality care
• Implementing and monitoring care and operational processes
• Working with relevant governing bodies on new service opportunities
• Promoting a person-centred, inclusive, and flexible care approach
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards

Candidate Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within health or social care
• Strong organisational, communication, and team leadership skills
• Commitment to person-centred, flexible, and inclusive care

Our clients service is a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea. The service supports adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, including individuals with complex needs.
