We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed children’s residential home in Erdington. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, values-driven leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people.
The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations, company policies, and best practice standards. You will lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated staff team while creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities-
Overall leadership and management of the children’s home

Achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings

Ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people

Recruiting, developing, and supervising staff teams

Managing budgets, rotas, and resources effectively

Working in partnership with professionals, families, and external agencies

Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures
Requirements-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children’s Residential) or equivalent

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting

Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills

A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people
