Are you experienced in supporting young people with SEMH and BESD needs?
Do you want to make a meaningful difference in school settings while working within a supportive agency?
M&M Supply are looking for Support Workers to work across school settings supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties (BESD).
Your Role:
- Supporting students with SEMH/BESD to engage in learning and manage behaviour
- Assisting in de-escalation using positive behaviour strategies
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
- Providing consistent emotional and behavioural support throughout the day
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEMH/BESD in schools, alternative provision, or youth settings
- Confident in de-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
Desirable:
- Trauma-informed practice understanding
- Experience supporting EHCP implementation
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices
- Team Teach or PBLM (Positive Behaviour Management Level 1/2) trained
