The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to support a welcoming nursery setting in DE14. This role will involve working across multiple rooms, supporting children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, due to planned staff absences and a live permanent vacancy within the setting. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, based at the nursery's main site, with the potential for the placement to extend depending on staffing needs. Part Tiem Roles are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children aged 6 weeks to 5 years across different nursery rooms
- Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain consistent routines and care standards
- Observe, support, and record children's progress where required
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
Who We're Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Confident supporting children across multiple age ranges
- A caring, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the nursery
Compliance & Vetting Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Two references from the two most recent employers
- Evidence of relevant qualifications
- Right to Work documentation
