Summary
We are looking for a skilled Cold Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be confident managing the cold section while also being capable of stepping up to support the hot kitchen when required. Hours are 8am – 4.30/5pm high season. Winter hours will vary. We are currently open Tuesday – Saturday till 4.30. We are looking to open Sundays and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present high-quality cold dishes, salads & breakfasts.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Assist on the hot section during busy periods, staff absence, or service demands
• Support the kitchen team with prep work and service as needed
• Ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery of dishes
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Cold Chef or similar role is not essential. Training can be given.
• Working knowledge of hot kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude - essential
