Summary

Grade D / SCP 6-11 + TASEN Allowance PRO-RATA (FTE £25,989 - £28,142 to be Pro-Rata).

Eagley Junior School is a happy and welcoming two-form entry Junior School in Bromley Cross, Bolton. We have an opportunity for a caring and supportive individual to join our team of Teaching Assistants as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
You will work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing specialist support to the teacher in an aspect of the curriculum or age range, for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning in their pupils, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm in their approach.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
Has knowledge of supporting and leading learning activities for children with SEN
Has successful relevant experience of working with children
Is able to devise and implement structured learning activities, under the direction of the teacher, and be able to evaluate their effectiveness and measure pupils’ progress, giving feedback as required.
Thrives off nurturing and developing children and is positive, approachable and caring

Has consistently high expectations of all children’s learning and behaviour
Has high expectations of themselves and works hard, both in and out of the classroom
