Trust Appointment (Northwest Hub)
35 hours per week, Term Time Only (39.6 weeks per annum)
Grade 3 (p.6 - p.11) £25,989 - £28,142 (pro rota to hours worked) plus 8% SEN allowance

This is a unique opportunity to support SEND provision and shape inclusive practice across our Northwest Hub initially based at our SEMH Centre of excellence at Richmond Academy, with further opportunities to work across Oldham, Rochdale, and Tameside.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring teaching assistant who:
Sets high expectations for achievement and behaviour
Is passionate about inclusion and SEND provision
Understands the barriers to learning that children with special educational needs may face and be able to use effective strategies to support them
Is able to relate well to children with additional needs, supporting them to regulate their feelings and emotions
Leads by example and motivates children and colleagues
Is creative, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement
Is ready to take on a rewarding challenge with real impact
Has an NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
Has Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
Completed Department for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (orto complete within first term)
