Duty Manager – Sports Lead
Honiton and Ottery Leisure Centres
Join our team as Duty Manager – Sports Lead and help shape the future of Honiton and Ottery Leisure Centres.
Honiton and Ottery Leisure Centres, part of the LED Group, seek a proactive Duty Manager – Sport Lead to oversee safe and
efficient sports programmes, increase revenue through bookings and PAYG sessions, and expand junior activities. Maintain high
standards of safety, customer service, and team performance. (Please see the attached Job Pack for more information)
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Manage leisure centre operations, ensuring safety and excellent customer service.
* Lead, schedule, and promote sports and junior programmes.
* Support front-of-house teams, cash handling, and facility setup.
* Drive membership sales, block bookings, PAYG usage, and business development.
* Maintain relationships with clubs, schools, and community groups.
* Collect and act on customer feedback for constant improvement.
ABOUT YOU:
* Previous duty management experience in leisure or similar environment
* Strong understanding of leisure industry legislation, customer service, and marketing
* IT competence (Word, Excel, Outlook); Leisure Management Systems experience
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Relevant supervisory and sports coaching qualifications
