Summary

We're looking for someone to join us and help make a real difference! Could that person be you? We are looking for someone to join our Falls Responder Team on a 20 hour per week contract. You'll be part of a dedicated team providing an On Call Service throughout Worcestershire; responding to non-injured people who have fallen at home. We are contracted by the NHS to provide this service.

You will be providing a valuable service to people and communities within Worcestershire. You will be the first point of contact for all “fall and no response calls” from Alarm Monitoring Centre operators where no injury to the person is suspected. 

You will be working from the comfort of your own home and responding to calls directed to you. Working as part of a team you will attend the residence of our customer and use specialist equipment to help lift them and provide any minor aftercare required. 

What are some things that we need from you?
-You will be a confident and capable communicator, demonstrating empathy and patience when dealing with customers who may be distressed.

-The ability to risk assess situations and mitigate problems where possible.

-Experience of working in a care giving or supporting role would be preferred.

-A professional, friendly, empathetic manner, demonstrating patience and understanding to the needs of the customer.

-Due to the nature of the role a full driving license and access to a vehicle will be essential.

-All offers are subject to the successful candidate passing an enhanced DBS prior to starting employment
