Summary
This non-exclusive list of duties, which follows, represents the range of tasks which may be required to be undertaken routinely or periodically. Technical Support & Service Delivery Provide high-quality first and second-line technical support to internal and external staff ensuring a high level of customer service. Utilise IT Server Management (ITSM) ticketing systems to efficiently log update and resolve incidents. Engage directly with end-users (both face-to-face and remote) to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across servers desktops mobiles and peripherals. Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure continuous service delivery for our critical operations. Infrastructure Maintenance & Improvement Oversee the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software and network components. Provide technical support and training to employees as needed. Maintain detailed IT documentation, including procedures and incident logs Implement and maintain IT security best practices and compliance with UK regulations (GDPR ISO 27001 etc.) The Digital Systems Engineer will: Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, taking full responsibility for issues from diagnosis through to resolution.
