The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils in lessons, deliver small-group interventions, and provide 1:1 support where required. You will help pupils develop core skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development while encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of classroom activities, including phonics, guided reading, and maths interventions—making this an excellent stepping stone into primary teacher training.
