As one of the most senior officers reporting to the Head of Commissioning with accountability to the Programme Lead for Mental Health in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ICB, you will act as a strategic ambassador for Cornwall, future-proof services in line with policy changes, and lead improvement plans. You will influence commissioning across mental health pathways, ensuring person-centred approaches and sustainable markets. What youll need to Succeed Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, ideally across pooled arrangements. Expert knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended), especially Section 117. Strategic leadership experience within commissioning, mental health, or social care. Strong analytical and reporting skills with confidence to challenge and assure. Ability to influence across organisations without direct line management. Experience of shaping markets, managing risk, and driving sustainable services.
