The role
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Credit Controller on a Fixed Term Contract to join the Finance and Treasury team.
Within the role you will be responsible for and have ownership of specific accounts, including local authorities, tenants, commercial and resident accounts.
Develop relationships with customers and other stakeholders, be proactive in chasing of all debts, monitoring of and addressing of customer queries in adherence with Housing 21’s Credit Management policies & procedures to ensure all payments are received to terms and in full.
The role is hybrid, therefore, the successful candidate will be required to attend all training sessions and team meetings at our head office in Birmingham as required and to work from the office as well as working remotely.

Excellence working in fast paced, high-volume environment and delivery of excellent customer service
Housing and care sectors experience
Knowledge & experience of customer account management, credit collections, controls, procedures and relevant legislation and safeguards
Experience working with complex systems solutions with numerous interfaces from feeder systems
Confidentiality and data protection legislation
