This is an exciting time to join Bridgend County Borough Council in the role of Policy and Performance Manager. We are seeking a highly experienced individual to provide leadership and management of the corporate policy and performance function overseeing the setting, implementation and review of the Council's strategic and operational objectives.

In this role you will provide leadership on the development of "Delivering Together", our Corporate Plan 2023-28 which sets out our ambitious vision for the future, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, integrated services that empower individuals and communities, as well as the council's Delivery Plan and Directorate Business Plans.

You will be joining an enthusiastic and dedicated workforce who are deeply committed to the council and the communities we serve, as noted in our recent Panel Performance Assessment (PPA). This role will be pivotal in taking forward the recommendations of the PPA and helping us achieve our untapped potential.

You will help us make some changes to how we deliver our objectives as we look to focus more on service level self-evaluations to ensure they align with corporate priorities and values.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post
