Summary
We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist or physiotherapist with specialist knowledge of patient moving and handling to lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of patient moving and handling training across the Trust. The post holder will act as the Trust’s professional lead for moving and handling, supporting safe practice and reducing risk to patients and staff.
We wish to shift from a training model to one were competence is assessed, and training provided in specific areas when competence is not demonstrated, and this will be a key component of the role. We can be flexible with your working pattern, recognising that a training role requires planning of annual leave and shifts.
