About the role
Salary details: Grade 1, £24,413 (Pro Rate)
Working Hours / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.
15 hour/week term (52 weeks).
Main Work: Mobile
Contract Length: Eternal

Description:
• Assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients
• Replace other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, lack of staff and other absences.
• Assist the site supervisor/supervisor on an occasional basis with the training of cleaning staff.
• Undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as; carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, cleaning according to the site specification, cleaning after construction, cleaning during breaks and other cleaning not normally specified in the site specification.

About you
You will need:
• Previous experience of working in the cleaning industry or in another cleaning-related discipline/environment.
• A basic understanding of the various cleaning tasks that need to be undertaken to provide an efficient and effective Cleaning Service.
• Good oral skills and ability to negotiate with members of the public and client officials.
• Be able to perform lifting and carrying duties and physically labour.
• You must be able to work from your own head and paste and carry out duties effectively.
• Positive and self-motivated with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changes in priorities and demand.
• Willing to work irregular hours.
• Be able to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
