A Massage Therapist supports the Physiotherapist and Ayurvedic Practitioner by providing therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments that assist in pain management, muscle relaxation, rehabilitation, and overall wellbeing. The role involves working in line with prescribed treatment plans, preparing clients before and after sessions, and applying soft tissue and traditional massage techniques to complement physiotherapy and Ayurvedic therapies. The Massage Therapist observes and reports client responses and progress to senior practitioners, maintains high standards of hygiene and infection control, ensures treatment rooms are prepared and safe, and delivers care in a professional, compassionate manner as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
