Summary
Working hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, shift pattern 8am-2pm and 4pm to 10pm) Interview Date: To be confirmedThe Salvation Army in Dundee provides support for people who are experiencing homelessness and have multiple and complex needs. Our role is to provide a safe psychologically informed environment to stay and support individuals through a Harm Reduction approach, based on trauma informed practice,Key Responsibilities: Assist with the delivery of support to homeless clients with complex needs, using Harm Reduction methods and Trauma Informed Practices.Liaising with partner agencies to provide support and advocacy.Work with clients through person-centred support planning and enabling access to a range of meaningful activities.Work with clients as part of a Support Team to ensure the needs and actions within person centred plans are addressed in a professional manner.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:Motivation towards supporting homeless individuals to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes.The ability to form supportive and motivating relationships.Able to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army.Willingness to work towards registration qualification for SSSC Registration.In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK and PVG checkFor details of how to prove your right to work in the UK please click here and please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship.
