The Richmond Urgent Treatment Centre and Radiology Department, situated in Teddington Memorial Hospital are looking to recruit to our friendly reception team. We are looking for a passionate, energetic team player with experience in customer service.
The Urgent Treatment Centre and Radiology departments are very busy with on average of 150 patients per day passing through the reception team.
As the first point of contact, you will greet patients and visitors, answer queries face to face or over the phone and book appointments.
The ability to keep calm under pressure, multi task and present a professional face to the public is essential.
The Urgent Treatment Centre is open 8am -8pm 365 days a year including Bank holidays.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive support service carrying out general reception and clerical duties including data inputting on to several designated IT systems within the urgent treatment centre and radiology to ensure the smooth running of the unit, including -
• Receiving all visitors to both departments with courtesy and efficiency, directing them as appropriate.
• Booking in patients, taking enquires and making onward bookings e.g. x-rays, GP appointments.
• Providing comprehensive administrative support to all professionals based in the clinic/department in line with administrative procedures.
• Accurately documenting and entering information on a number of IT systems including SystmOne, soliton and Cerna system.
• Assisting in ensuring that Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed and carrying out Fire Warden duties in the clinic/department as per fire procedures.
