The Fitzalan Primary Cluster Schools wish to appoint an Attendance Officer to join our dynamic, diverse and dedicated primary team.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, pro-active individual to work with targeted families and engage them in the learning process. The post holders will strengthen links between schools, parents, families and the wider community, in order to reduce the impact of poor attendance on educational attainment.
We are looking for a dynamic, trusted and committed person who will:
- Work in partnership with our existing cluster School Attendance Officer
- Work diligently together to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and school staff
- Work across several schools effectively to increase attendance across the cluster
- Be committed to working as a team
- Be sensitive to the needs and beliefs of a wide range of diverse families
- Be able to use their initiative to manage workload effectively

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
