Your Role as an Education Administrator
In this varied and rewarding role, you will be at the heart of the school’s operations. Responsibilities include:
General Office & Administrative Support
- Managing daily office tasks such as filing, photocopying, responding to emails and phone calls, and liaising with parents and staff.
- Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with meeting arrangements, minute taking, and communication across the school.
Finance, Systems & Compliance
- Assisting the Assistant Head of Education with petty cash.
- Ensuring all administrative processes follow company policies for confidentiality, record keeping, and information management.
- Maintaining contact databases and keeping essential information accurate and up to date.
Health, Safety & School Operations
- Supporting the implementation of Health & Safety procedures, fire safety, and visitor protocols.
- Reporting hazards, faulty equipment, or maintenance concerns to the School Caretaker.
- Ensuring systems are in place to manage resources such as alarms, fobs, and equipment.
Teamwork & Communication
- Helping to ensure smooth communication between school departments, Head Office, parents, and external partners.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, solution-focused atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 2 (or higher) Customer Service/Administration qualification, or equivalent experience
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and digital skills
- Previous administrative experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Desirable:
- Microsoft Office qualifications
- Experience within a school or education setting
- Knowledge of HR processes or Health & Safety
- Understanding of Estyn or ISS standards
- Use of initiative and ability to work independently
