BaxterStorey is on the lookout for an inspirational, customer-focused Reception Supervisor to oversee a small, dedicated reception team within the city offices of a prestigious corporate law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about service excellence and thrives in a professional, client-facing environment.

The Role

As Reception Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, setting the tone for a warm, professional, and welcoming experience. You will supervise the reception team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and maintain exceptional service standards in line with client KPIs.

You will work closely with the Site Manager, Client Services Manager, and the wider Workplace Services team to ensure seamless front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and friendly front desk service at all times

  • Supervise and support the reception team, acting as their first point of contact

  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and welcoming reception and client area

  • Manage shared mailboxes and visitor sign-in procedures, including issuing visitor badges

  • Communicate effectively with staff regarding visitors, deliveries, and messages

  • Provide administrative support, including reporting and office supply management

  • Support the Site Manager and act on their behalf when required

  • Ensure service standards are consistently met across the client floor

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Calm and adaptable under pressure

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms)

  • Experience with booking-in systems is desirable
