Cover Supervisors – Manchester
Minimum 3 Months UK Experience Required

TeacherActive is working with a wide range of secondary schools across Manchester who are looking to appoint experienced Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and long-term cover.

This role is ideal for confident classroom practitioners who are comfortable delivering pre-set work and maintaining high standards of behaviour across a range of subjects.

The role will involve:

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared lesson plans

  
  

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  
  

• Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged in their learning

  
  

• Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day

  
  

• Working across a variety of subjects as required

  
  

  We are looking for Cover Supervisors who:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months’ experience as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school (essential)

    
    

  • Are confident covering a wide range of subjects

    
    

  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

    
    

  • Are reliable, adaptable, and professional

    
    

  • Can commit to school hours, typically 8:30am – 3:30pm

    
    
  • Are willing to travel
