Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Lanesborough House Care Home are seeking a dedicated and organised part-time receptionist to join our team. As a public-facing role, you will promote the home in a positive, friendly and polite manner. The ideal candidate will be well organised, efficient and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Ø Welcomes and assists visitors in a friendly and efficient manner
Ø Opens and stamps incoming post, ensuring important correspondence is brought to the attention of the Manager
Ø Utilises relevant office equipment in order to accurately and efficiently produce all typing requirements
Ø Receives all incoming telephone calls and redirects where appropriate
Ø Ensures that messages are passed on promptly whilst observing the need for confidentiality
Ø Makes travel arrangements where required
Ø Plans and manages time efficiently, deals with unexpected tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved
Ø Ensures show rounds are carried out and relevant information taken
Ø To be able to support the Home Manager & Administrator as and when required
Ø Ensuring the Reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence.

EXPECTED HOURS
Alternate shift pattern:
Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri (22.5 Hours)
Week 2 - Weds, Thurs, Sat, Sun (30 Hours)
Contracted to 26.25 hours per week, 9am-5pm
